Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 9 August 2026

Navtrac (navtrac.io) is operated by CITS LTD, Unit 7 Initial Business Centre, Wilsons Business Park, Manchester M40 8WN, United Kingdom. You can contact us at navtrac@citsltd.uk.

This Policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for each thing you can buy on Navtrac. It supplements the Terms of Service and the Developer & API Terms, and does not limit any rights you have under applicable consumer law. All payments are processed by Stripe; refunds, where issued, go back to the original payment method.

1. Subscriptions (web app plans and API plans)

  • Cancelling. You can cancel any subscription at any time — web app plans from the in-app billing portal, API plans from the Developer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you keep access until then, and you are not charged again.
  • No partial-period refunds. We do not refund the remainder of a billing period after cancellation, whether monthly or annual.
  • Renewal charges. If you believe a renewal was charged in error, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will review it.

2. Day passes

Day passes activate immediately on purchase and expire automatically after the stated duration. Because access is delivered in full at activation, day passes are non-refundable once purchased. By purchasing a day pass you request immediate supply and acknowledge that you lose the statutory cooling-off right once the service has been fully performed.

3. API credit packs

  • Used credits are non-refundable. Credits consumed by API requests cannot be refunded or re-credited, including where a request returned data you did not expect (failed requests that our system does not bill are never charged).
  • Unused credit packs. If none of a pack's credits have been used, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing navtrac@citsltd.uk.
  • No cash value. Credits are not transferable, have no cash value, and any remaining balance lapses when your developer account is closed.

4. Statutory cooling-off (UK/EU consumers)

If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you generally have a 14-day right to cancel distance purchases. For digital services supplied immediately at your request — which is how subscriptions, day passes, and credit packs are delivered — that right is limited by law: you lose it once the service is fully performed, and for partially performed services a deduction may be made for the value already supplied. Nothing in this Policy reduces rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including remedies for services not supplied with reasonable care and skill.

5. Billing errors and duplicates

Duplicate charges, charges after a completed cancellation, and other billing errors will be refunded in full. Email navtrac@citsltd.uk with the charge date and the email address on the account, and we will respond within a few business days.

6. How to request a refund

Email navtrac@citsltd.uk from the email address on your account, describing the purchase and the reason for the request. Approved refunds are issued through Stripe to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
